Meta Mode

In Meta mode <#1073#><#1074#>〈<#1074#>Alternate<#1075#>〉<#1075#><#1073#> is the so called Meta key; pressing <#1077#><#1078#>〈<#1078#>Alternate<#1079#>〉<#1079#><#1077#> plus a second key will produce the ASCII code of that letter plus 128 (the Meta key sets the eighth bit of the character). To enter Meta mode press <#1081#><#1082#>〈<#1082#>Alt<#1083#>〉<#1083#><#1084#>〈<#1084#>CapsLock<#1085#>〉<#1085#><#1081#> (this will toggle an indicator on the statusline).
